ALASKA BEAR MOUNTAIN LODGE
Where is the Bear Viewing Lodge located?
       The Bear Viewing Lodge is located at Chinitna Bay,  60 miles
west from Homer, at the base of Mount Iliamna, Lake Clark National
Park. The Lodge is accessible only by airplane or boat.

Are children allowed at the Lodge?
     We allow children of the ages of 12 years and older to visit
our Bear Viewing Lodge, due to the fact that it is a Wilderness Lodge.

What do I need to bring?
     Your personal clothing and products, camera equipment and
extra film / memory cards / batteries / dvds. Shampoos and soaps are not supplied by Alaska Bear Mountain Lodge and are responsibility of the
guests to bring.

Can I leave the Bear Viewing Lodge area on my own?
     Due to the large amount of Brown Bear activity in the area, there
are limitations guests may not go without guides.

Is the Air Taxi transportation from Soldotna or
Nikiski included in the price?
     Air taxi services, while conducted by a separate company from
ours, are included in the tour prices unless otherwise stated.

How long is the Air Taxi trip to the Bear Viewing Lodge?
     The trip takes approximately 40 minutes from Soldotna  or
Nikiski. It is a scenic breathtaking journey.
